Our fundraising campaign

Winter family Survival Packs

We are providing 200 plus families in hard hit areas with humanitarian aid packs to provide the most basic but essential needs to those without power this winter.

A hot meal, ensure communication with friends family and State Emergency Services and important lighting.

Each pack contains a portable gas cooker, quality power bank and rechargeable torch/lamp,

The costs is  £50 per pack but any donation amount is gratefully received.

Please help us provide incredibly important Winter Family Survival Packs to provide #warmthlightlife now.

About Us

We are on a mission to help the innocent victims of an illegal war in Ukraine

At the beginning of the war a group of British and Ukrainian friends came together to establish a humanitarian relief project for Ukraine. The support from the community has been overwhelming and this support is the key reason why Surrey Stands with Ukraine has delivered so much aid in such a short space of time. SSWU operates under the registered charity Harrop HR Missions Ltd (1117155)

Our mission at Surrey Stands With Ukraine is to support the people of Ukraine both there and here in the UK. We do this by collecting and purchasing medical supplies and other urgent aid needed by those on the ground, and organising transport to deliver these supplies directly from Surrey to our partner’s hubs in Ukraine.

100% of all donations will go to support the people of Ukraine. No fees or wages are taken by our volunteers or trustees.

On Friday, Russian bombs killed Tetiana and her Mother Iryna in Zaporizhizhia. She will be forever 14.

9 others died with dozens wounded.

One of thousands and thousands of similar stories over 2.5 years that happen everyday in Ukraine.

The last 2 months have been intense for a variety of reasons at the Charity. Some unexpected. Which have been largely incredibly positive and some not so much. But we deal with both equally as Kipling said.

We have had to move very quickly to use opportunities to promote Ukraine, its people and our work. And I’m incredibly proud how our volunteers responded to making them successful.

More influential contacts have been made, all with the purpose of improving our work for our adopted Country. We will see how these progress.

We are taking a breather to research and plan our next big initiative. But whatever we focus on will be positively life changing to those who it supports.

We don’t take a breather on our day to day activities though. Kiosk manned daily. The constant process of gathering aid and distribution to Ukraine through our partners.

Only yesterday two substantial loads were received and load no.121 left us.

Monday we collect supplies from another hospital and receive a further large number of mobility aids.

Plus individual targeted parcels to be sent via our Nova Poshta branch.

The constant quality control and sorting of clothes, food, hygiene products and medical supplies.

A video call with another Ukrainian based NGO will take place next week to see if we can support them.

And we have two fundraiser gigs lined up for just after Christmas.

I’ve never been a part of something so special and so full of humanity.

And all of you who support us give us energy to continue.

Thank you.

I leave you tonight with our Ukrainian friends decorating our Hub. 🎄
