Please help us provide incredibly important Winter Family Survival Packs to provide #warmthlightlife now.
Our mission at Surrey Stands With Ukraine is to support the people of Ukraine both there and here in the UK. We do this by collecting and purchasing medical supplies and other urgent aid needed by those on the ground, and organising transport to deliver these supplies directly from Surrey to our partner’s hubs in Ukraine.
100% of all donations will go to support the people of Ukraine. No fees or wages are taken by our volunteers or trustees.

The last 2 months have been intense for a variety of reasons at the Charity. Some unexpected. Which have been largely incredibly positive and some not so much. But we deal with both equally as Kipling said.
We have had to move very quickly to use opportunities to promote Ukraine, its people and our work. And I’m incredibly proud how our volunteers responded to making them successful.
More influential contacts have been made, all with the purpose of improving our work for our adopted Country. We will see how these progress.
We are taking a breather to research and plan our next big initiative. But whatever we focus on will be positively life changing to those who it supports.
We don’t take a breather on our day to day activities though. Kiosk manned daily. The constant process of gathering aid and distribution to Ukraine through our partners.
Only yesterday two substantial loads were received and load no.121 left us.
Monday we collect supplies from another hospital and receive a further large number of mobility aids.
Plus individual targeted parcels to be sent via our Nova Poshta branch.
The constant quality control and sorting of clothes, food, hygiene products and medical supplies.
A video call with another Ukrainian based NGO will take place next week to see if we can support them.
And we have two fundraiser gigs lined up for just after Christmas.
I’ve never been a part of something so special and so full of humanity.
And all of you who support us give us energy to continue.
Thank you.
I leave you tonight with our Ukrainian friends decorating our Hub. 🎄

Ukraine fights to keep the lights on as Russia hammers power plants
As a brutal winter looms, Russia is once again targeting power plants - forcing Ukrainians to adapt.
‼️With widespread blackouts and power cuts due to the latest Russian attack on power infrastructure this is an important fundraiser ‼️
Yesterday we completed the remaining winter aid packs in preparation for loading tomorrow, but there are 30 left to fund!

Tired. Time to sleep.
Goodnight / на добраніч 🇺🇦🇬🇧
These medical supplies plus an incoming load of a few hundred crutches and an electric mobility scooter.
A busy, productive day.

Successful trip. 🇺🇦🇬🇧
Thank you. And yes. It does come from all our hearts.
But it’s also the right thing to do. Good must overcome evil.
And it will.

So endlessly grateful to #Kherson publication @vgorunews for courageous work and this interview. (My Ukrainian is still a work in progress but I'm learning)
I'm currently in the UK/EU to raise awareness but will return to Kherson to report.
#HumanSafari should be stopped.

Long but lovely day at St Nicholas Children's hospital Lviv today, with visits from several charity St Nicholas' bearing gifts for the kids & a performance of a 'boy called Christmas' by a local amateur theatre group 🎄
Okhmatdyt. I congratulated the young patients on St. Nicholas Day, spoke with the children, their parents and doctors.
This war has brought so many things into our children’s lives that should never be part of childhood. Yet, despite it all, they remain children, and we must do…

@SurreyStands with Ukraine community in Epsom was incredible last night.
This powerful volunteer organization supplies humanitarian aid to the regions in need.
“I knew nothing about Ukraine before,” said one volunteer. “But it doesn’t matter. We are all people!”
More soon.
We funded all 200 Winter Family Survival Packs within a month 🎯🥇
Thank you to everyone who donated, RTd and commented. Your support is so gratefully received and this is a massive boost to our volunteers’ morale. 🙌🏻
And most importantly it enables us to continue our work. 🙏🏻…
One of our Ukrainian volunteers who came to help today, had learned her neighbours house had been hit and the husband/father killed.
I only learned this afterwards.
You just run out of words.
Load no.121 has left also with as many mobility aids as we could put in it.
